Off-road caravan rental

All-terrain camper trailers that do not stop where the tarmac does. Reach the places an ordinary caravan cannot.

Off-road caravans for hire

A conventional caravan is built for serviced pitches and flat tarmac. An off-road caravan is built for the opposite: forest tracks, field roads and places where the day ends without neighbours. At camprent we specialise in exactly this category — our all-terrain trailers have more ground clearance, a tougher chassis and the autonomy to let you stop where there is no power and no water supply.

What sets an off-road caravan apart

A chassis for rough ground
Independent suspension, all-terrain tyres and high ground clearance. Where an ordinary trailer grounds out or loses traction, an off-road caravan keeps going.
Independent of hook-ups
An onboard water tank, leisure batteries and independent heating mean you are not tied to a campsite with an electrical hook-up. You can stop where it actually makes sense to.
Built to take a beating
A light but rigid body absorbs the vibration and impacts of unsealed surfaces. The interior is laid out so that equipment stays where you put it, even after hours of rough track.
Sensible towing weight
Our off-road trailers are sized so a typical SUV or pick-up can tow them. Before you book we will tell you whether your vehicle suits the specific model.

Why rent your off-road caravan from us

We are one of the few rental companies in Slovakia with genuine all-terrain trailers in the fleet rather than road caravans wearing a badge. Every caravan is inspected before it goes out, we walk you through the heating, water and electrical systems, and we help you pick a model based on where you are heading and what you will be towing with.

Where to take an off-road caravan

Slovakia is ideal country for this kind of travel. The Malá Fatra, Low Tatras, Poľana and Slovak Paradise all offer dozens of access tracks that an ordinary caravan simply cannot use. Longer routes into Romania, Albania or across the Alps are popular too — an off-road caravan handles sections a conventional caravan would have to detour around. Always respect access rules for protected areas and private land.

Off-road caravan versus conventional caravan

The difference goes well beyond the tyres. A conventional caravan sits low, has a larger footprint and assumes you will park on a prepared pitch with a hook-up. An off-road trailer trades some living space for ground clearance and independence. If you are heading for a coastal campsite, a conventional caravan is the more practical choice. If you want to park on a meadow above a valley, you need the all-terrain one.

Who an off-road caravan suits

Our typical renters are families who would rather not spend a holiday on a crowded pitch, couples travelling for outdoor sports, and groups setting off on multi-day expeditions. Towing experience helps but is not a requirement — at handover we show you how the outfit behaves when reversing and on loose surfaces.
