Have you ever heard the word stellplatz? If you are one of the enthusiastic campers or "homesteaders", you certainly know that this is an official caravan site on a paved area outside the campsites. You can stand on it overnight, perform basic maintenance, refill clean drinking water, recharge batteries and dispose of waste, including gray water and chemical toilets. It is true that we do not have extended parking spaces, but those that do exist are of the same quality as foreign ones and often operate all year round, i.e. even in winter.
